Noor Naelil Masruroh, S.Hum., M.Hum., is a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development, Nagoya University. Her research focuses on the knowledge creation within family businesses among indigenous communities in Southeast Asia. Her fieldwork extensively examines the local ethnicities of Southeast Asia, transcending geographical borders. Additionally, she holds a particular interest in issues related to island studies and their inhabitants. She has gained practical experience by conducting fieldwork in islands, including Bali, Natuna Islands, and Karimunjawa Islands. From 2018 to 2022, she actively contributed as a research assistant in a study on the development of salt production in Bali, led by Prof. Dr. Yety Rochwulaningsih, M. Si. Recently. Now, she is actively participating in a comparative research on Reverse Gender Gap in Asia.
