ALUMNI PROFILES
Harto Juwono is a historian, lecturer in the History Department at Sebelas Maret University, and an expert consultant for several Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). An alumnus of the History Department at Diponegoro University, Harto is widely recognized for his expertise in legal history. His professional experience as a practitioner in State-Owned Enterprises includes serving as an expert consultant at PT PLN (Persero) from 2012 to 2016, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) from 2013 to 2020, and PT Pertamina (Persero) from 2019 to 2022. As a historian and academic, Harto has published numerous scholarly works, including “Recht van Eigendom and Inlandsch Eigendom: A Study of Landownership in Colonial Indonesia” and “From Bengal to Java: Raffles’ Landrente in Indonesian Agrarian System”, both published in Indonesian Historical Studies; “Legal Dualism in Native Christian Marriage Law in The Dutch East Indies (19th–20th Centuries)” published in Kerugma Theological Journal; and “Gelijkgesteld: The Change of Chinese Legal Status Under Indonesian Colonial Structure” published in Mandarinable: Journal of Chinese Studies.
