Learning Goals and Qualification
The Undergraduate Study Program in History within the Faculty of Humanities at Diponegoro University is dedicated to cultivating graduates who synthesize a mastery of historical inquiry with steadfast moral integrity and technological fluency in the digital age. Our curriculum is strategically architected through the integration of Bloom’s Taxonomy to ensure a rigorous depth of competence across all pedagogical dimensions.
The articulation of these Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) exemplifies a holistic graduate profile, encompassing the entire spectrum of Bloom’s domains. This begins with the internalization of ethical principles at the highest affective level (A5-Characterization), instilling both spiritual devotion and nationalistic values, and culminates in peak cognitive and psychomotor proficiency. Regarding Subject-Specific Knowledge and Skills, the curriculum transcends foundational comprehension; it mandates that students rigorously analyze historical primary sources in multiple languages, including Javanese, Dutch, and English, while synthesizing historiographical outputs through journalistic and cinematic methodologies (C6-Create). Furthermore, these competencies are synergized with General Skills that prioritize critical and innovative inquiry in strategic decision-making (C5-Evaluate). The result is a Bachelor of History who possesses not only methodological rigor in interpreting the past but also the technical prowess to disseminate knowledge via modern information systems, exercised with autonomy and accountability in alignment with the values of Pancasila.
