“ Semarang, October 17, 2025 – The History Department of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University (FIB UNDIP) successfully held an entrepreneurship training entitled “Building the Spirit of Histopreneurship among History Students.” The event was held online via the Zoom digital platform. The event was opened by the Secretary of the History Study Program at FIB UNDIP, Dr. Rabith Jihan Amaruli, M.Hum. In his speech, he said that the spirit of entrepreneurship is important for students in the current era and that history can be used as capital for entrepreneurship. The keynote speaker was Fanada Sholihah, M.Hum., founder and manager of tarugiri.org, a digital platform active in the fields of historical archives, articles, and books. The event was moderated by Bahagio Raharjo, M.A.”
The speaker said that there are entrepreneurial opportunities based on historical knowledge. In carrying out histopreneurship, it is necessary to pay attention to consistency, strategy, and operational funding. These aspects have been applied by the speaker during his activities at tarugiri.org. In addition, branding is an important factor in building a business. Branding can attract and expand the reach of a business to the community and is related to the identity and uniqueness of the business to be built. After the presentation, the activity continued with a discussion session. Participants asked the speaker questions about histopreneurship. The discussion session was constructive and provided a lot of knowledge for the entrepreneurship training participants.”
