Khairana Zata Nugroho, S.Hum., M.Hum. is a lecturer in the Department of History at Diponegoro University. Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum of historical studies, with a primary focus on the colonial era in Indonesia. Her scholarly works cover the fields of medical history, socio-political developments, and cultural history, the latter being her principal area of specialization. Her articles have been published in Sinta-accredited journals, including Agastya, Analisis Sejarah, and Santhet: Jurnal Sejarah Pendidikan dan Humaniora, among others. In addition to teaching and conducting research, she also contributes to the academic community by discussing digital historical research methods, including the importance of digital archives as historical sources. Currently, she is involved in several research projects, including “Women amid the Transition of Colonial Identity in the Dutch East Indies Society” and “Efforts to Alleviate Poverty in the Pekalongan Residency during the Dutch Colonial Period, 1901–1942.”
